Gardasil on trial: What happened to Robi v Merck?

Last year, I reported on Robi v Merck — a jury trial in the United States examining claims that Merck’s Gardasil HPV vaccine caused serious harm.

The trial began in January 2025. A jury was empanelled, witnesses were called, and expert evidence was tested in open court.

Then, after 17 days, the proceedings were abruptly adjourned.

Since then, the case has been repeatedly delayed.
