Have to really admire Prof Foster for standing up in the face of the vitriol that was thrown at her when spoke up during Covid. She's been proven 100% right, but I bet not one of the people who slandered her has apologised.

As for TED, that organisation jumped the shark some time ago.

Bryan completely agree with your remark about TED jumping the shark. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised that they even commissioned this fabulous talk in the first place! I really loved Professor Foster’s talk, particularly the part where she said that we are manipulated not only by fear but also by love. By now the “fear” part has become a commonplace but not so much the “love” part. And I want to add that this thing starts small, slowly conditioning society by asking it to do little painless things like separating our garbage into regular and recyclable parts and then when it gets to the dump more often then not it is all mashed together because proper recycling is seldom cost effective. What I’m trying to say here is that part of what is being fostered here by deception is not only love of the world but love of oneself for being such a good person. And from this arises not virtue but virtue- signaling which takes its place.

But I digress. I really loved the talk and greatly admire this professor who I must confess that I had not heard of before.

TED’s US office says “[However] talks should not attack political and public health leaders.”

Wow!

In other words, seeking accountability is forbidden under tyranny…

The US, a leader in suppressing dissent and free speech.

So much for ‘the land of the free’…

Who exactly is running this show…without our consent…?

Yes Elizabeth, I saw that one.

This is the heart of the problem.

We must be able to hold unelected bureaucrats and elected representatives to account for their actions.

As I have posted before my uncle is dead and countless others killed maimed or badly harmed by what were very clearly negligent and reckless actions during the benighted covid era.

The lurch Leftwards in politics and public life has caused astronomical problems, and until we confront the completely false and failed ideology now prevalent and driving this madness we will continue to suffer.

thank you Dr Demasi,

.. "talks should not attack political and public health leaders"

TED/TEDx failed to recognise within Australia we have the Constitutional Implied Freedom of Political Communication .. though not a personal right or right to free speech, it is a right that places a brake on executive government censoring political discourse, including discourse that is highly critical of purported "political and public health leaders"

true, TED/TEDx does not (expressly) represent the executive, but by proxy they certainly carried out the wishes of Australian executive government (Commonwealth & States) by this cowardly and shallow act of censorship

.. as Professor Foster correctly stated: “ .. more than four years on… hundreds of books, academic papers, and tragic personal stories confirm I was right.”

but Professor Foster was not only right - millions of Australians were also right in holding the same views and criticisms towards these wrongly termed "leaders" .. views Professor Foster voiced on behalf of millions of people

.. and hats/off to the good Professor for doing so, so bravely

as for TED/TEDx .. well, quite simply, they can no longer be trusted .. their day in the sun is over, for being seen now as complicit in the outrageous Covid censorship that caused .. and continues to cause .. so much suffering

.. and it was this message of suffering and death at the hands of these "leaders" TED/TEDx appears to have been tapped-on-the-shoulder to stop the rest of the world from hearing

disgraceful

Indeed. Reminds me of the circumstances surrounding a couple of episodes of a popular national television science show which were FACTUALLY ACCURATE ! Yet the network deemed the episodes "too controversial" and "apologised" for airing them. All this at the behest of a supposed "medical doctor" who is allowed to keep his doctor title even though he hasn't seen a patient in over 40 years !

This was followed up with an orchestrated and sustained smear campaign on the responsibile journalists character and reputation by the vested interests who don't want the public to know the truth. Censorship is alive and well in Australia!

So TED has revealed itself to be just another regime media, propaganda organisation - good to know! The problem for them is there are many outlets now who will report the truth so all TED is doing is undermining their own credibility by censoring and suppressing alternative views.

Thank you Maryanne for bringing attention to this very insightful woman. I’m sure I’ve mentioned before how disappointed in myself I am for buying into the whole covid narrative to the point of disqualifying dissenters. All before I was vaccine injured. The propaganda was propagated in every newspaper, wall to wall coverage on television and our governments. The constant drumbeat of fear. We were well primed even before the shots came out to ensure our compliance. The bullseyes put on dissenters backs, which in retrospect was very dangerous. Blaming the “antivaxxers” for the continuation of the virus at a time where we were all desperate to get back to normal and be rid of it, we were told it was their fault. In Canada there was a hotline to squeal on your neighbours if they weren’t adhering to the protocols. All of this made you believe this was a very deadly virus and went a long way to ensure our compliance.

For TED talks to deny the professor a platform which was backed with evidence, is telling. Do they themselves believe it crossed a line or are they too nervous about going against the accepted narrative? Were they worried about becoming a target if they allowed her to speak? Were they just playing it safe? But, the big question is, who is everybody afraid of? We all see what happens to those people who go against the grain. Their reputations are smeared and more. It’s universal. I never did believe in the cabal theory, whoever the cabal is, but something is using omnipotent power it seems, to get humanity to bend to their rules.

Like similar organizations, TEDx doesn't have a clear path for reader/observer feedback. I definitely didn't find any 'consumer forum'.

Does anyone have a link or method to send messages, comments directly to the TED bureaucracy?
