Truly terrifying. I can't understand why the media doesn't at least pursue the questions raised. It's either a hangover fear of being branded conspiratorial (or maybe just a fear of being de-platformed on socials) or its a more human fear of not wanting to know if there actually is a safety issue with the vaccines, given 85% of people complied with the request to take them. Either way, surely sceptical science journalists should be asking questions of Big Pharma about the safety and efficacy of their products? It's not like Big Pharma possesses an unblemished and unchallengeable record!

Pfizer / Moderna ignore media requests… FDA responds but bypasses specific question. 🧐

"..sceptical science journalists.."

The few left in Australia with any ethics watched what happened to Dr Demasi inside the ABC.They will tow the line and stay quiet...nothing can be seen to cause "vaccine hesitancy"...

Kudos to Buckhaults for raising the issue, but his tolerance of regulatory errors strikes me as inappropriate for a fully approved drug. Emergency use authorization was sufficient to fight the perceived fire of COVID.

When I watched the YouTube video I observed he was speaking very carefully as to not come across as aggressively attacking which he would have been toast if he had. Reading his subtext speaks volumes.

I understand, but also think that strategic communication got us into this situation. The world would be a better place if scientists focused on telling the truth rather than the effects of their words.

Maryanne, did you see Dr. Buckhaults latest tweets?

Yes, I think he just wants to call for calm. Causing panic is what he was afraid of. He tweeted my interview also. 🙏

I disagree on what Buckhaults' said, and also his motivation for what he didn't say. I think he was very forthright about what he found, as he flat out stated, "...I found this amount of DNA, it's really true, and there are many copies...So the observation first reported by Kevin McKernan is absolutely true." The part where he didn't say what you were probably looking for was: "The only question is, what is the frequency of this happening across a vaccinated population? And is that frequency high enough that we should worry about it? Or is it low enough that the good that comes from the vaccine far outweighs the risk? We just don't know what the frequency of genome modification is....We do not yet know if it means anything or not. There's a chance that this DNA does nothing, but because I have a background in cancer genetics and cancer biology, somatic mutations are my expertise. And I think that there is a reasonable chance that if you inject pieces of DNA that are wrapped up in this transfection particle – the lipid nanoparticles - there is a reasonable chance that some of this is going to get into cells, and then integrate into the genome of cells. I think we should check and find out." I think it's absolutely refreshing when a scientist says, "We don't know this yet, but we're going to find out." Kudos to him. BTW, the Covid virus might also inject itself into our genes (8% of the human genome is made up of viruses from past infections of our ancestors), and the Covid virus itself may cause cancer and a whole host of other health problems (see links in my post below). So even if you were not vaccinated, if you had Covid, you may have some of it in your genome now and you might have bad effects from the virus down the road. As an honest scientist would say, "We just don't know."

Scary but excellent article thank you.

Maryanne, you are amazing. There is still so much more to learn about these rushed vaccines and the damage it causes. We don’t know if it’s going to wreck havoc for future generations even. There has been so much hidden, so much money behind these vaccines. The lawsuits between the 3 pharmaceutical companies for theft basically. All countries just depended on data from corporations that are in the business of profit. I concede we were in a mess at the time but to badger the public with safe and effective follow the science was, anyway you look at it, propaganda. I knew something was wrong. Thank you so much for all of your dogged determination.

“The public should be informed when there are clear answers, but not repeatedly troubled during the process of obtaining these answers.”

The problem is, if the public are not informed now - who will demand these clear answers? The FDA? The TGA? Medsafe? Fat chance. The public need to know now so that they can pressure the authorities to do their job.

This article is a really good start. Thank you.

A most important article. Two separate kinds of potential dangers. DNA pieces that integrate into the human genome, possibly at oncogene locations, and DNA that codes continuously for spike protein, possibly in the myocardium. All based on biological plausibility for now, but that is in the nature of how decisions are reached.

Excellent deep dive. I would not discount the risks related to RNA causing changes in gene signaling / expression -- "epigenetic" changes. Specifically long non-coding RNA (lncRNA). See this from @joomi:

This is important information, and thanks for keeping people informed, not to mention keeping on the FDA. Hopefully the FDA is taking steps to investigate and have the companies make corrections. What Buckhaults said about the FDA not announcing it now makes sense, as there is still much we don't know (but need to find out). But they do need to publicly address it at some point if they want to maintain any credibility. I would love it if you would interview Paul Offit and/or Vinay Prasad on this topic, since the former is a vaccine expert, the latter is a cancer expert, and both have been very candid about both the pros and cons of the vaccine, and have made nuanced recommendations based on data, not politics. I also think it would be helpful to put this into the context of the big picture. As one example, I wonder how many people know that when you get infected with at least some viruses, the virus can insert itself into our genes. In fact, 8% of the human genome is viral in origin (link #1). It's not surprising that if the amount of DNA that might be in a vaccine might be inserted in our genome, that the much larger amounts of DNA in the body from an actual infection could do so. For example, a person infected with Covid carries one billion to 100 billion+ virions during peak infection (link #2). There are a variety of viruses that can lead to cancer (link #3), and only time will tell whether the Covid virus does the same, but there is already some evidence that it may (link #4). Now there is pretty strong evidence that the more often one gets infected with Covid, the greater the odds of experiencing a host of harmful sequelae in just about any organ of the body (link #5). Unfortunately, this was even the case for folks who had mild cases and were vaccinated, although the study didn't address whether those who were vaccinated got infected less often. Protection from infection is good initially but wanes over time, so it probably depended on how recently the person had been vaccinated. One thing is for sure, as the article stated, "better vaccines are needed." The good news is that research into that is ongoing (link #6), but the bad news is that such research is very expensive and funding is insufficient. Another pandemic is inevitable, but will we be ready, and even if we are, will many people be unwilling to take a vaccine even if odds of death are high without it? Hopefully the next one won't have a very high case fatality rate like some plagues of the past.

I forgot to include link #6 above, so here it is. Also, link #2 above is to a early pre-print version of the article, but the final version can be accessed from it, and the information I cited was the same in both. I wish Substack would add an "edit" function!
