Dear Maryanne,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to express my admiration and appreciation for your recent work on the "Media Censorship - Lessons from ABC TV" story. Your dedication to shedding light on such a crucial issue is not only commendable but also necessary in today's media landscape.

Your ability to tell this story with clarity and conviction is a testament to your journalistic integrity and bravery. It's essential that such stories are told and retold, lest we forget the significant impact of media censorship in shaping public discourse. Your work serves as a powerful reminder of this.

Please continue your outstanding work. Your commitment to truth and transparency is a valuable asset, and I believe it will yield positive results in the long run. Stay true to your principles – your efforts are making a difference.

Best regards,

Stuart

I'm not a Scientist but I do have a Law Degree and I hold the Company Director's Diploma from the Institute of Company Directors so I do have some research skills.

I was a regular watcher of the Catalyst Program and a great supporter of the ABC and its important role in Australia.

I recall when I saw Dr Demasi's item on the overuse of statins many years ago. I was in my 50's and had 2 young children.

My GP said I should take Lipitor because my cholesterol was a little high.

I don't really like taking any medication but I took his advice initially.

I didn't feel any different except that my legs became sore.

Seeing Maryanne's item led me to do my own reading on the issue and I stopped taking the statin.

To cut a long story short, I stopped taking Lipitor and my legs stopped aching. That was over 10 years ago.

I also think as a separate issue that the ABC's treatment of Dr Demasi then and subsequently was disgraceful. Her views, which are not mainstream, but are scientific and research-based and should be given an audience.

Sincerely

John Kennedy LL B (Syd) AICD Dip

I stopped watching it listening to theirABC back in the ‘90’s. We were brought up on theirABC and believed that they had integrity but gradually it became obvious that there was a bias creeping in that was very disturbing. We watched catalyst and you.

So imagine my surprise to see you here. I appreciate your honesty here am sad that you were treated so shabbily. Thank you for keeping on and bringing us the truth.

Thanks Jillian, I too, was enamoured with the old ABC of the 90s and early 2000s….it’s leadership failed the taxpayer, in my opinion. There were a lot of good and honest workers on the ground (and in my team) that got burnt!

What happened at the ABC… I used to watch it all the time too, and then it became unwatchable…politically correct, woke.

Something happened with the media, a takeover in the Five Eyes Countries for sure. It’s been in the planning for a while. The creation of the propaganda machine.

I am so glad you wrote up your experiences, though I understand that there is so much more to say. Such important background to how the ABC behaved when covid came around. Of course you can also extrapolate to other media outlets. Keep up the good work, even if it is at such great personal cost. With all my admiration

Thank you for your courage and integrity. I will never trust the ABC to tell me the truth about anything again. They, like the rest of the legacy media, wrote their own death warrant when they lied outrageously for 3 years about Covid. It woke so many of us up and now we know they lie about almost everything important to us. Independent journalists like you are the future and more power to you!

The sad thing about this whole Pravda like debacle is, the majority of smug, virtual signalling ABC voters driving around with a "Save Our ABC"(from objective reporting?) stickers will never know about this or will tend to believe the ABC version of what happened..

At the time, I was contacted privately by a couple of high-profile ABC presenters who expressed their support, but none of them came forward because it risked their own jobs.

This is to be expected from the likes of Norman Swan. He consistently overestimated the morbidity and mortality from what would otherwise be minor colds and flu. The censorship of your work by the ABC and authorities shows that there is a wider agenda involving not just promoting the COVID jabs but suppressing all evidence showing their toxicity and the fact that the Globalist elites are in control of not just the ABC - and that Norman Swan is one of their paid shills, if not one of the Globalists himself.

Maryanne,

I came to the same conlusion a little while ago, facts alone are not enough. Clearly truth and justice require superhuman efforts. I am so pleased you have made public the sacrifice of justice and truth in the hands of the Australian medical fraternity and media in 2013. Plesase keep doing what you are doing. This is going to take a while.

I resent that taxpayers pay for theirABC and there is no accountability. They never own their mistakes unless they have to pay compensation. Even then they are very mealy mouthed in their apologies.

I was very shocked over a chaser episode that was venal ( one of many) and disgusting about Chris Kenny. The network apology was very poor. The chaser - ‘crickets’

From memory, they were legally obliged to apologise in that case…. Otherwise, it’s highly unlikely for the network to make any public admission of error or misjudgement.

Maryanne, I didn’t know the story, I just knew something happened. It’s about the erosion of our trusted institutions by a steady stream . Big money is in charge now and people better toe the line. It’s all so scary. I had read about statins decades ago. My family doctor at the time was pushing them on my husband and I. We asked her if they’d ever been proven to work as we couldn’t find anything at the time. She, concurred and said there was no proof showing that they worked. We didn’t have high numbers so gave them a pass. There was a doctor here in Canada who came out against them, but we know what happens to people’s reputations who speak out. Even cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra has spoken out against them. These last three years have really wakened many people up to the fact that pharma are the ones really running the show.

Again thanks for your work Maryanne.

My awakening as to ABC bias came yeurs before the Catalyst episodes, when Four Corners did a hit job on an excellent surgeon in our town of Orange in the early 90's. I realised then that facts were irrelevant.

My medical journey has often corresponded to your scientific journey on many matters and I applaud your courage.

In many ways Norman Swan (a man who has not practiced medicine for over 40 years, and only did practice for a short period) is our very own Tony Fauci- "Australia's most trusted doctor".

Yep, 4Cs has been very hit-and-miss over the years….

It’s misleading that Norman Swan passes himself off as a doctor when he hasn’t practiced as a doctor for over 40 years. How is this allowed? What’s behind these titles?

I think as long as he pays his membership fees, he’s allowed to keep the title.

Hello Maryanne, your Catalyst episodes on statins many years ago enabled me to warn several of my family and friends of the true risks/rewards of statins. They all stopped using it. The science since then has reinforced your opinion. You are vindicated. Keep up the good fight. Cheers, Harvey Raven.

ABC Chair Ita Buttrose advertising for Pfizer, it’s gobsmacking isn’t it, along with the fact pharmaceutical products are being advertised on the telly.

Including the advertisements for diseases such as shingles, to draw people to doctors for dispensing of vaccines.

Ita Buttrose was Scott Morrison’s captain’s pick for the job, she’s also a previous Murdoch hack.

All ties in with the Murdoch agenda… News Corp is a corporate partner with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, which is involved in vaccine research, including coronavirus vaccine research with the Doherty Institute, the modelling of which put Australia into lockdown and restrictions in March 2020, influenced by the modelling of the infamous Neil Ferguson, Imperial College Report 9.

See my email to Scott Morrison in February 2021 for more background: https://vaccinationispolitical.files.wordpress.com/2021/02/no-jab-no-pay-no-play-coercive-vaccination-in-australia.pdf

There are few remaining outlets for legitimate and truthful reporting like yours. Most actions in the media are driven by the "infotainment" approach. This explains why a TMZ reporter earns more than a brain surgeon. To get real motivations, follow the money. Sad, but true. Keep publishing and reporting as you have been, even if its lonely at times.

I agree, it was particularly egregious, and unsurprisingly, he was rewarded for it.

How many others were rewarded with titles, both here and in the UK…?

That’s an interesting little project in itself.

Re Norman Swan, he’s still registered as a practitioner with AHPRA, but is it legitimate to use the ‘Dr’ title if not actually practicing as a doctor?

Consider this info from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Swan

“Swan was born in Glasgow, Scotland as Norman Swirsky.[1][2][3] He wanted to be an actor, but instead went to medical school at the University of Aberdeen graduating in 1976.[4] He later tried unsuccessfully to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.[1] He then continued his postgraduate studies by specialising in paediatrics.[5][4]

Swan moved to Australia to continue his training but transitioned from medicine when he became a producer and broadcaster with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1982.[4]”
