AHPRA was set up by Nicola Roxon who was Health Minister from the Rudd/ Gillard years.
The socialist left of the ALP have always seemed to have had a pathological hatred of doctors.
AHPRA is a perfect vehicle to enforce compliance and destroy critical/ independent thinking by doctors in line with socialist ideals. It is in no way about standards.
But still Gareth, what is wrong with doctors...and nurses, and pharmacists...who cannot call out something that is obviously wrong, i.e. vaccination mandates which violate voluntary informed consent for vaccination?
Maryanne - doctors, nurses, pharmacists - they injected people they knew were under duress to comply.
They collaborated with pressure, coercion, manipulation and MANDATES.
They pierced the skin with the needle and injected the contents.
In a hostile climate of mis/disinformation, aka LIES, from 'the authorities', and intimidation, with people being threatened with loss of livelihood and participation in society, doctors, nurses and pharmacists collaborated and injected people under duress to comply.
It is APPALLING!!!!
Why did so few have the courage to resist the moral disintegration?
Pretty well the same with all professions- the push has been for compliance with the edicts of "the experts". This starts at school, goes through the universities, and into professional governance. Critical thought is not tolerated.
I recently read "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand- a great illustration of the individual versus the collective written during WW2.
"Why did so few have the courage to resist the moral disintegration?"
Because, as you put it, "people being threatened with loss of livelihood and participation in society".
This also obviously applies to ALL people - the very same doctors and nurses obeying the mandates. They worked and lived in fear of being destroyed financially, emotionally and socially!
I do think it's easy to tell other people that they should have been braver and put ALL they had at risk. When the gun is aimed at our heads none of us can say with surety how we will respond.
You are justifying doctors and nurses obeying the mandates, and violating valid voluntary informed consent for vaccination?
There is no question... When vaccination mandates were put in place the medical profession should have reared up as one and refused to collaborate with this travesty.
Problem is, this has been going on for years, it pre-dates 'Covid'.
Medical workers themselves have been subject to vaccination mandates - how can we rely on these people to defend voluntary informed consent for vaccination, when they couldn't even do it for themselves?
And of course there are the No Jab, No Pay/No Play laws for children, coercive/incentivising vaccination laws imposed since 2016 - the medical profession should have refused to collaborate with those laws...but they went along with them.
Military people too are likely to be pressured to be vaccinated.
Of course many people are very supportive of 'vaccination' but how much do they know about this topic...including the vaccinating practitioners themselves...?
These are lucrative products, an ever-increasing number of which are being added to the 'womb to tomb' vaccination schedule, which is steeped in conflicts of interest.
Again, doctors, nurses, pharmacists have a moral, ethical and legal obligation to obtain valid voluntary informed consent for vaccination. If they pierce someone's skin with a needle and insert the contents they had better make sure they have valid voluntary informed consent for the intervention, otherwise it's battery.
Many "in the hospital system" & do not want to lose their jobs....lets face it they are nearly all afraid to speak out, or are arrogant & stupid & still believe the "Safe & effective" lie.
Not to make excuses for them but whatever else they may be good at the virtue known as courage is not part of the average doctor’s skill set. Moreover a significant number of doctors, notably those who become bureaucrats are either super timid or as in the case of one Dr Fauci and others simply power hungry. The late famous writer Michael Critchton was trained as a doctor and he said he left the profession because he was turned of by the power hunger that he observed during his residency and of course it is in a bureaucratic organization such as a hospital that one would expect this dynamic to manifest itself. It is tragic that a corrupt minority can have such a negative impact on the profession as a whole.
Great points thanks Max, seems also, too many Drs end up being controlled & afraid of losing their jobs from bureaucrats that run the system, ...&, they have so much invested in their careers & many yrs of hard work & training it is just too much to lose...you know & the Teslas & private School fees haha ...seriously I suspect THEY ALL ought be going after the crooks running the AMA & the Colleges...THEY should have come out in support of DRs independence..& them being able to responsibly treat patients as they, and the patients, think best. Politicians controlling medical protocols & INJECTIONS with god knows what in them...."trusting" Pfizer et al ...eeh? What could possibly go wrong? Ha!
I don’t mean to sound too harsh about doctors who are afraid of losing their jobs for speaking out. We know about the brave few and how difficult it has been for them. I guess at the end of the day I wish that vast numbers of ordinary doctors would organize and protest in a loud voice what the government is doing to them and their profession. If they did that I think that the people would back them up because ordinary people trust their doctors more than they trust the government.
What is described above in Maryanne Demasi’s article could be taken straight from the pages of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s “The Gulag Archipelago”. This is a classic work of literature that describes what actually happens once freedom is lost in the absence of the rule of law, when subjected to the workings of socialist bureaucracies (in that case, in the former Soviet Union). Consider the following operative phrases extracted from Maryanne’s article:
(1) “AHPRA is on a power trip”
(2) “Others pointed to the agency’s internal metrics. “They’ve got KPIs to meet,” one added. “So, they manufacture targets.”
(3) “…doctors penalised for minor infractions, technicalities, or, worse…”
(4) “….the weaponisation of the complaints process…”
(5) “The agency, he (Vivek Eranki) said, has “unlimited scope” and “no accountability” when pursuing investigations. There’s no standard of evidence required to launch a case. No clear end point. Just an opaque system that grinds down the profession”.
All these descriptions could have come straight out of Solzhenitsyn’s book – however, the phrase “KPIs to meet” and the “manufacture of targets” really caught my attention. Let me explain -
All activity in the economy of the Soviet Union had to be planned. Targets were set (i.e. KPIs) and failure to meet those targets resulted in serious penalties for the government unit involved. This principle even applied to the activities of the NKVD - the secret police forerunner of the KGB. In his book, Solzhenitsyn describes the absurdities that this created. To ensure that their planned targets would be met, the NKVD resorted to seizing people at random off the streets and charging them with offences “against the state”. Kafka-like - the unfortunate victims would often never find out what the charges really were and would end up perishing in a Gulag. Solzhenitsyn describes how in one case a female victim refused to go quietly. When walking down the street, the woman was grabbed by NKVD thugs - but she had the presence of mind to realise what was happening, so she seized hold of a lamppost & wouldn’t let go. She started screaming and a crowd quickly formed to watch. Now the one thing that the secret police didn’t like was a public scene, so they backed off and disappeared. But she didn’t go Scot free. That night the NKVD came to her apartment and made the arrest.
The psychology of the operations of the people who run AHPRA appears to closely map that of the Soviet secret police. I suspect that this sort of sociopathic behaviour is endemic to many people who are given this sort of power in unelected bureaucratic structures. This is not surprising given that the origins of AHPRA stem from the term of the Gillard Labor Government. Let’s be honest about this - the reality is that the powerbrokers of the socialist ‘health’ unions want to wipe private medical practice from the face of Australia. The failed government GP clinics of the Rudd-Gillard era were one attempt at this.
Flighting bureaucratic NKVD behaviour in the courts is no doubt necessary, but the real solution to defeat the power of neo-fascist bureaucratic bodies such as AHPRA is to go hard in exposing them to the public. To pre-emptively defend themselves, doctors and medical professionals need to get serious by “grabbing a lamppost and starting to scream out loud” (metaphorically). Collective action is needed to dramatically raise the publicity threshold. I suggest that a few billboards in strategic locations would be an effective start to this process - and then ramp it up from there. The Australian public will not take kindly to KGB bureaucrats dismantling their freedoms. We saw enough of that during the Covid years – thanks to the Morrison Government and its state equivalents. It is time to push back doctors - or the NKVD will walk all over you.
Goes back a long way..I remember in about mid 70's sometime my Dr saying "they are turning us into public servants" ...HOWEVER, they must have some conscience re administering harmful politically created protocols... & bad "Globalist edicts"?
So true Lapun. Amazingly I have just finished reading the The Gulag Archipelago and it's a complete shaking up. As others have said, it really illustrates clearly many of the issues we have today that, to the non-paranoid, make no sense at all.
Wow...great work & ". To pre-emptively defend themselves, doctors and medical professionals need to get serious by “grabbing a lamppost and starting to scream out loud” (metaphorically). I didn't think I lived in a totalitarian State, but with a State sanctioned body harassing doctors, and the E-Karen harassing the rest of us, I clearly do.
Dr Gary Fettke is a good example of AHPRA overreach. To be charged with inappropriately reversing T2 diabetes...You have got to be joking. I see how Drs are forced to comply with a standard of care which on the surface is generally a good thing, but it seems to me that they should be given more latitude to be rewarded for their own post Doctoral research. I should never have got T2 diabetes. The standard of care is too focused on medication and not on the real issue..
Carbohydrate overload. We still have so many people being diagnosed in ignorance of the real cause.
Interesting that when a person is starved, either by their own inability or insensitivity to their needs or through insurmountable barriers to adequate nutrition, many of their pre existing ailments subside.
Re the AHPRA 9 March 2021 Position Statement and this comment:
QUOTE
“From then on, doctors were too scared to make independent clinical decision,” one said. “You were expected to follow instructions from bureaucrats—not inform your patients and allow them to make up their own minds.”
END OF QUOTE
This is the fundamental issue...
What is so terribly wrong in the medical profession that doctors and others didn't have the courage to challenge bureaucrats...e.g. to challenge vaccination mandates that obviously violate valid voluntary informed consent for vaccination?
Similar to Port Arthur in '96 the Patel scandal was the lever used to justify this amalgamation of the state boards and the creation of such being based solely on an act of the QLD parliament. Dr Bay was going to challenge the fundamental basis for AHPRA (a case I still firmly believe has merit) as we are a federation of states we cannot have a legally binding entity rule us from another state (unless we infringed the law in that state when we were physically present in that state - see Bernard Gaynor case). AHPRA is a private entity with regulatory powers, as such we should be able to create a competitive registration board. Free market competition is how poor models of administration are effectively repaired. We saw how necessary this was with convid, the Red Union stood up for it's members even though it was new on the scene, whereas the QNMU was silent and told it's members to put up and shut up.
Another brilliant article covering an extremely important issue. Everyone in the healthcare industry knows that when patients are harmed our profession is harmed and brought into disrepute. Clinicians are the last line of defence between all of the factors that conspire to cause them harm on many levels. We all watch our own patch and hope for the best once the patient leaves our hands. We must trust that there is another with our own morals and values who will take up the baton and ensure the patient completes their journey through the system without unnecessary harm reaching them. We are their advocates to protect their rights (our rights) and this role we take very seriously. Our role is frequently undermined by regulation and lacking political will where simply increasing funding and "staffing levels" many harms are reduced significantly. I applaud the current QLD health minister for his efforts at getting the service back on track and fit for purpose. There has been a severe lack of compassion to both those who complied with mandates to survive and those who risked their careers and everything they had to fight for their rights. New York nurses were offered their old positions back and remunerated for lost wages. We're less human than American nurses apparently. Above all, we are about the patient and any time meddling such as mandates and regulatory overreach comes into play it is the clinician that must push back. The majority of our patients rely heavily on clinicians to be their learned friend throughout their dealings with the healthcare system. When convid gutted the system of all the experienced nurses and doctors we lost decades of experience that cannot be taught. This must have caused deaths as well. A recent UK study on the effect of Brexit on the NHS found that the loss of thousands of experienced staff led directly to the deaths of patients. The reports of missed cancer diagnoses came out of the UK early on. Our system was on it's waiting list to get on the waiting list to be on the list to be considered for surgery. There was a whole bureaucracy formed around managing the numbers to ensure the severity of the situation was handled. The pressure on the service did not disappear during covid. It got worse, yet in the governments infinite wisdom they chose to cripple the system further by removing the most valuable players (we were called heroes once). Jordan Petersen said it perfectly paraphrasing the outcome is inevitable when the administration of a complex system is presided over by those who have no knowledge or experience of how and why that system functions. It is as though one is simply attempting to manipulate the stock market to buy or sell shares, but losing on every trade.
We saw in ROBODEBT how pubic servants were subjected to total censorship by the Public Service Act in speaking out unless they can be brought before a Royal Commission and we saw how state inquiries were not even allowed to cross examine the federal public servants in the Hotel Quarantine Enquiry and 20 yr confidentiality of all matters - including background decision papers - brought to National Cabinet and controlled by its single member Scott Morrison
In this matter of doctors, censorship is levied on them by TGA confidential complaints in RESTRICTED REPRESENTATIONS, infringements, fines and then there are agreements with professional registration bodies censoring too. Add to that the clamp down of media with international membership in TNI (Trusted News Initiative) - ask ChatGPT for its long and pervasive member list. And wonder who defines misinfo behind editor desks.
When people are locked out of speaking about matters they have deep understanding of the science, the statistics, their patients needs - then sensitive people are in danger of becoming suicidal because it isn’t that no one is listening but it is our government saying you are not allowed to speak
Only the unqualified are allowed to speak - usually on 𝕏 because wisely Elon Musk closed their offices except in US where freedom of speech is supposedly protected by the Constitution.
Sadly unqualified lack standing in the courts and tribunals.
Spot on not just NAZI's also USSR & other dictatorships...so now we all stroll into the "digital prison" (thinking they are good & honest) & THEN they flick the switch using any old fake pretext and then BIGO there is no way out the digital prison ..al la USSR revolution. We all need to see their "game" now....& call them out for their crimes against humanity. I think they need to be prosecuted or we are all "a goner"!
AHPRà, TGA and many other govt bodies are out of control.
But the Leftist press and politicians love this sort of bully boy action because it aligns with their ideology. They give a free pass to these evil and destructive entities, not seeing or not caring about the many victims, because they were practicing "wrong think" (even if they were not.)
Australia is not a democracy and the ethos of objective public service disappeared long ago. People need to wake up to the evil in our midst.
Maryanne you and the brave doctors at this conference are to be commended for speaking out.
I received a response from Matthew Hardy, AHPRA National Director Notifications, saying:
QUOTE
Thank you for the information you shared with us. We understand you are raising concerns about Professor Paul Kelly’s role in advice on Australian Government Covid-19 vaccination policies in aged
care.
Our work is guided by the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (the National Law) and under the National Law, we are not able to progress concerns relating to the implementation of government policies.
Any concerns about information provided by Dr Kelly in his role as Chair of the AHPPC may be raised with the AHPPC directly, or with the Australian Public Service Commission.
Please note, although we are not progressing these concerns, we have recorded the information you provided on our database.
END OF QUOTE
What do you make of that response Maryanne?
Note how Matthew Hardy says: "...we are not able to progress concerns relating to the implementation of government policies."
And yet AHPRA's 9 March 2021 Position Statement was a protection for government policy, i.e. the then Morrison Government's COVID-19 vaccination rollout, which subsequently became mandatory for many people around the country.
Note also Hardy says: "Any concerns about information provided by Dr Kelly in his role as Chair of the AHPPC may be raised with the AHPPC directly..." In other words I'm being told to make my complaint to the perpetrator...
Hardy also suggest I raise the matter with the Australian Public Service Commission - good luck with that! I have now found out how difficult it is for a member of the public to raise an electronic complaint with the 'public service'...
And the statement, “although we are not progressing these concerns, we have recorded the information you provided on our database”… oh sure, sure they did— filed it straight in the dustbin.
Great stuff thankyou very much all. Of course it has nothing to do with health,...if it did they would do something about what is in folks shopping trolleys at the Supermarkets..In my view it is all part of coup happening by a criminal network of "globalists" who want total control of everyone (&/via their movements control) using the pretext of "health" via "health/Vax passports". Next, Digital Dollars (CBDC's) are also on their agenda. Do not forget how the "locked people down in homes", surveilled them and also, froze the Canadian Truckers Bank accounts, &, also arranged for companies to cancel the truckers insurance. Also, they arranged for companies to stand down or refuse "unvaccinated" to work. It is all reminiscent of the Bolshevik dictatorship coup in USSR where according to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn they murdered 66 million innocents. We best all wake up,...& fight this NOW...soon it will be too late!
Maryanne, maybe this mistreatment of doctors has always existed and I wasn’t aware. In the past I would read about doctors losing their licenses for sexual misconduct but during covid it’s been notably different. Here in Canada doctors were demoted, fined and or lost their license for undermining the national covid strategy including vaccinations. I don’t think doctors are stupid but was amazed at the gaslighting about anyone who complained about being injured by the covid vaccine, a technology that had never been tried on humans before. Doctors became afraid when seeing what was happening to their colleagues for speaking out. Ashly Koppins exposed the stark inconsistency in how the regulatory applies standards. Has it always been the case or did something change in the last 5 years? We have a doctor shortage in Canada and was surprised when doctors were hounded, dragged to the regulator, loss of license, fined and raked over the coals for speaking out about the lockdowns or vaccines. This happened in lockstep with other countries, which says to me that something over and above our regulators was running the show.
Yes indeed. AHPRA complete Clowns 🤡. I mean they allow a certain SHILLING SWINE to continue to be registered as a doctor when he hasn't seen a patient in over 40 years !
Sad to witness the descent of the Anglosphere into Orwellian dystopia. For those who haven't been re-educated to love Big Brother, maybe there is still time to flee to America?

The Gulag Archipelago was my first reading during the Covid years and provided me with a deeper level of understanding of what was happening.
I do not, unfortunately, have any faith in the vast majority of my profession possessing the desire nor the courage to push back.
Doctors are nowadays comfortably enmeshed in collectivism.

Interesting comment, Dizzle. The Bernard Gaynor case is a disgrace to Australian democracy and the rule of law.
Well said. 🙏
So disheartening to hear of the continuing juggernaut of censorship, persecution and blatant fear-mongering still at large in our community.
How is this different from Nazism?
Eerily chilling.
And all those who endorsed the "safe and effective" crime against humanity were voted in to do the same for the next three years!?
Spot on not just NAZI's also USSR & other dictatorships...so now we all stroll into the "digital prison" (thinking they are good & honest) & THEN they flick the switch using any old fake pretext and then BIGO there is no way out the digital prison ..al la USSR revolution. We all need to see their "game" now....& call them out for their crimes against humanity. I think they need to be prosecuted or we are all "a goner"!
Maryanne.
Thanks Chris. 🙏
In June 2023, I made a notification, aka complaint, to AHPRA about former Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly, arguing that he violated the requirement for voluntary informed consent for Covid-19 vaccination via imposing vaccine mandates, see my notification here: https://vaccinationispolitical.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/notification-to-ahpra-re-medical-practitioner-paul-kelly.pdf
That’s all just awful. Such a sinister organisation.
AHPRA were the same funsters that pursued Dr Gary Fettke...
He suggested many of his overweight patients should lower their blood glucose..by eating less carbohydrates..
Yes..I know..crazy advise..
They should eat unlimited carbs..increase their serum glucose and have their limbs chopped off(follow the scienceTM).
He was gagged from nutritional advice for a period of time.
https://isupportgary.com/articles/enough-is-enough-dr-gary-fettke
Yes, the entire situation should have forced AHPRA to retreat in embarrassment.
Seems simple non drug solutions dont fit with funding loyalties of our govt health initiatives with Big INTERNATIONAL Pharma
This was certainly an issue pre-Covid… but it became more evident during Covid after AHPRA issued it position statement regarding vaccination.
Something over and above wouldn’t be big pharma by any chance
Yep. Pharma!
Yes indeed. AHPRA complete Clowns 🤡. I mean they allow a certain SHILLING SWINE to continue to be registered as a doctor when he hasn't seen a patient in over 40 years !
Something that was raised at the conference! Recency of practice https://www.ahpra.gov.au/Registration/Registration-Standards/Recency-of-practice.aspx
Sad to witness the descent of the Anglosphere into Orwellian dystopia. For those who haven't been re-educated to love Big Brother, maybe there is still time to flee to America?
