I suspect the BMJ is done with me now, so it’s unlikely I’ll get another bite at the cherry. They paid me a small “kill fee” after cancelling a story I’d completed on the Covid inquiry, which they ultimately decided not to publish.

As someone whose Covid submissions to the BMJ have been blacklisted I wonder if I am on your list-of-people-whom-you-have-been-warned-off.
