Maryanne, I cherish you and appreciate you because you are honest. It feels really good to be able to trust and know the information you give has been researched. I wish I could get people to subscribe to you but my friends (the ones I have left) have no interest in what is going on with the behind the scenes shenanigans.

Your support means a lot Vivien. Hope you are doing ok given your circumstances. 🙏

Robinson has been right so far, rather than 'far right' as the legacy media want to portray him as.

I cannot even count the Substacks I read. But Maryanne is a cut above almost all of them. One of the few writers that I always read beginning to end. If you do not subscribe, you should -- there are few more deserving. Keep it up, Maryanne. We appreciate you more than you know.

Thank you so much Dr K 🤗

Maryanne I can’t remember how I discovered your blog but all I can say is that it has been a godsend, I have learned so much from you! Thank you for everything that you do to shine light during dark times.

As someone whose Covid submissions to the BMJ have been blacklisted I wonder if I am on your list-of-people-whom-you-have-been-warned-off. I have managed to escape capture thanks to the "Daily Sceptic"; latest comment https://dailysceptic.org/2026/06/25/the-covid-inquiry-doesnt-understand-why-the-vaccines-didnt-work/, which has a link to my full critique. Always happy to be interviewed...

I suspect the BMJ is done with me now, so it’s unlikely I’ll get another bite at the cherry. They paid me a small “kill fee” after cancelling a story I’d completed on the Covid inquiry, which they ultimately decided not to publish.

Thanks for the link. I’ll take a look. 🙏

You ask "why have we become so uncomfortable listening to people we disagree with?" Because extemely wealthy individuals with enormous influence control our social, legal, NGO, media structures, basically they control everything. They weaponize this control to destroy any individual that falls outside the approved narrative. There are hundreds of real examples, this terrifies people, so they fall in line. I am sure you can name a bunch off the top of your head, sounds like you are one that has experience this first hand.

As was evident during the COVID years, “journalist” considered themselves as part of the laptop class. David Zweig in his book “”An Abundance of Caution” devoted a chapter to the failure of the media. Almost without fail, journalist failed to use professional skepticism and devoted themselves as scribes to public health.

Unfortunately journalism is being trashed by those who want to control the narrative such as MSM. I haven't watched it or read for six years i read books and get into the weeds but your exposure of statins was my wake up call. Unfortunately the flip side is finding credible diligent journalism on alternative media there are many false flags and deceits hiding agendas. If you think critically and keep an open mind the truth prevails. A general rule if they are prepared to stick the head out to be chopped off by the competing narrative they must be doing so to expose the truth.

Keep providing diligently reported unbiased reporting of the facts Maryanne ,unfortunately you have chosen an industry that gives you way too much to expose. Sadly

I’m a long time supporter of your fabulous work, Maryanne. You have changed my life (health) through your honesty, and your journalism highlighting misinformation has led me to be a healthy skeptic in other areas, too. Keep up the good work. 👍

What stood out to me is the lack of knowledge on Tommy Robinson. My question then is how does Aussie media cover the UK Pakistani rape gangs?

Maryanne Demasi, PhD's avatar

I barely follow MSM …. Most of what I consume is on social media involving US healthy policy, which is no doubt influenced by algorithms.

Gosh I love your writing style, your authenticity, your meticulous preparation.

"Fired from the ABC" is something I would proudly put on my résumé (or dating profile!)

LOVE, Love, love your work. Keep going. With best wishes from an ardent supporter, and a cognitive dissonance tolerance drillmaster in Australian education (not many of us......).

We are so lucky to have you and your reporting, Maryanne. You delve into topics that others don’t. I hope more people will find you! But many people today don’t like to have their assumptions challenged… they’d rather silence the messenger.

And there I was thinking that getting fired "because of the Robinson interview" was just a smokescreen for Nine's horror that Stefanovic interviewed Malhotra: https://x.com/karlstefanovic/status/2069677051347415541
